Saints Polo

The University of St Andrews Polo Club is a friendly club that welcomes players of all abilities, from experienced or handicapped players to those who have never sat on a horse before. The club trains at Kinross Polo Club with our HPA qualified coach and pony hirer Thom Bell. Ponies are available from friendly matches and beach chukkas to national tournaments.

We are a very active club with weekly training sessions and social events. We attend a variety of tournaments throughout the year across the whole of the UK, both on grass and in the arena.

Club sessions

The club have lessons available Tuesday-Friday in the afternoons, but participants must sign up for trainings in the weekly emails that the club send out. There can’t be more than 8 people per training due to horse availability, safety, and trainings are reliant on a driver being available to get the group of students to the facility. To sign up to the weekly training sessions please email the club polo@st-andrews.ac.uk
